3 Things You Can Stop Worrying About

Number one.  You can stop worrying that you think too much. Most people have around 50,000 thoughts per day.  50,000!  Can be even more.

Number two.  You can stop worrying that you have negative thoughts.  About 70% of our thoughts are negative or have some negative connotation.  Remember negative thoughts can help keep us safe and prepare us for things to come.

Number three.  You can stop worrying that you are obsessive because you keep thinking about the same things over and over.  Depending what is going on in your life right now your thoughts could be as much as 90% repetitive.  You may be trying to regulate your emotions connected to an event so you keep thinking about it.  If you are working to solve a problem your mind will continue to turn the same thoughts over and over again.  When something happens to us that we just can’t believe or accept, our minds will keep replaying the event.

Yes, there can be issues with racing thoughts.  Negative thoughts that are connected to depression or anxiety can be problematic. And there is such a thing as obsessive thinking.  If you are concerned about any of these check out a test online or seek the help of a therapist.

More often than not, you are just thinking like any other human being!
