Sitting With Yourself

Spending time with friends, family, and coworkers is great and great for you.  Collaborative thinking can help you to solve problems and move in a positive direction. Support from your community of friends is important to help your make changes and reach your goals.

But it is also important to make time for reflection and meditation. In order to implement changes, you need to get quiet to process that input you have received from your community and determine what is the best next move for you personally.

I suggest you do formal meditation every day.  I know that it has become an important part of my life and I seldom make an important decision without setting on my meditation cushion in quiet time.   If this isn’t for you, then simply have a cup of tea in silence.
