The Four Tendencies

I recommend reading ‘The Four Tendencies”  by Gretchen Rubin.

You take the quiz to find out what your tendency is.  What would you guess today without taking the quiz, are you an upholder, a questioner, an obliger, or a rebel?  The book has good insights for learning more about yourself and understanding your behaviors.

Once you know what you are, you might give the quiz to your spouse and children.  Take a guess at who your boss, coworkers, or clients are.

Gretchen tells us how to deal with each tendency at work, if they are your spouse or child, even health clients.  I wish my doctors would read how to deal with a questioner.  Maybe we would develop a better working relationship.

Speaking of relationships there is also advise on pairing up and how to speak to each other effectively.4tendencies-blue3
