“You need to smile more.  That is how to be happy.  You smile, you are happy.”

“I thought it was the other way around,” she said.

He shook his head. ” No, no.  Smile first, that is how.”

Let’s try this and see if we feel happier.  For the next few days, let’s experiment with this idea of smiling more. Not fake smiles, but genuine smiles for the people and things we enjoy.

Smile at the people you love.   Smile at your pets.  Smile at your houseplants.  Smile at your plate during dinner.  Smile at your glass of wine.  Smile at your favorite apples in the grocery store.  Smile at yourself every time you pass a mirror.

Please accept this challenge. This is an experiment and I am excited about gathering some data on this. So don’t forget to let me how it works out for you.  Comment please.
