When you are overwhelmed by projects, housework, or a huge to-do-list: Make a plan. Sit down and make a list that includes everything that needs done. Break each item down into small steps that can be done in 15 to 30 minute bites. Decide when and for how long you will work on these each day. Just having a plan should reduce some of your anxiety. Now for the hard part – take action and follow your plan. True relief will only come from get it done. You will feel better with each day that work on your plan.
